Julius Tart Optical is the brand created in collaboration by Tommy Ogara and Richard Tart grandson and sole successor of Julius Tart, founder of the legendary Tart Optical Enterprise in the early 50s. Mr Richard Tart has a proven track record of working both in the factory and in Tart's marketing Optical and is the only hereditary of the projects of Julius Tart.

Building on the enormous work left by Julius Tart, using superior and modern Japanese technology together with the best materials, the new models leave the perception of a product never made before. Julius Tart Optical masterfully creates the advanced reproduction of the same models of the past with unparalleled quality while keeping Julius' stylistic vision intact.

Tart was worn in the second half of the last century by many celebrities such as J.F. Kennedy, James Dean and more recently by Johnny Depp.
